How to Use
1. Going for a walk:
Clip on your dog’s lead and let them enjoy their walk - your retractable lead does the rest. The tape or cord stays taut and clean, so there’s no need to adjust the length manually.
2. To stop your dog:
Press the brake button.
3. To keep your dog close:
Shorten the lead and lock the brake to keep your dog safely by your side.
4. Read the directions for use:
Always follow the safety instructions provided.
Leading the Dog
Lock the brake and place the included safety loop around your dog’s neck, parallel to the collar. Pull the hook of your Flexi through all three metal rings (loop → collar → loop). When using a harness, thread the safety loop through at least one strap of the harness and attach the rings on the safety loop using the D-ring and snap hook.
Free Run
Always hold the Flexi by the hand grip. As long as the brake button isn’t pressed, the tape or cord will extend and retract smoothly.
Stopping
Press the brake button with your thumb. Release the button when your dog comes back to you so the lead stays slightly taut.
Retracting
Swing your arm forward while holding the Flexi and press the brake button.
Pull your arm back toward you, then release the brake and swing your arm forward again - the lead will automatically retract. Repeat until your dog is at the desired distance.
Heeling
Bring your dog back to you, press the brake button, and slide the brake lock forward to secure it. To release, pull the lock backward with your thumb.
